Dr. Jeffrey Rice

Growing up in the central valley with both a father and grandfather who were dentists, Dr. Jeffrey Rice knew early on that he wanted to continue the family tradition. After graduating from Turlock High School, Dr. Rice went on to study at both U.C. Berkeley and U.C. Davis; where he also played collegiate football. After graduating from U.C. Davis with a degree in Physiology, Dr. Rice attended Northwestern University Dental School in Chicago and graduated in 1993.
Upon returning to the central valley, Dr Rice practiced with his father. In 2005, he was a founding partner of Aesthetic Dental Designs; where he was instrumental in the design; running of a state of the art dental practice. In late 2007, Dr. Rice decided to return to the Turlock area to practice dentistry and in 2011 purchased Turlock Family Dentistry. Dr. Rice has completed advanced dental training at the Las Vegas Institute for advanced dental studies and continues to complete hundreds of hours of continuing education to remain at the forefront in advancements in cosmetic dentistry..

When not actively engaged in his work, Dr. Rice enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 boys and his daughter. Dr. Rice is committed to providing his guests the highest quality cosmetic dentistry available.

Dr. Amethyst Schlecht

Dr. Amethyst grew up in Turlock and attended Central Catholic High School. She went on to graduate from CSU Stanislaus with a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry in 2000.  Dr. Amethyst attended the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry and graduated in 2004.  Since then she has continued to practice full-time in Turlock.  She enjoys spending time with her husband, Wayne, and their 3 children, Clark, Savannah, and Carter.  She loves watching her children as much as they love to play golf, soccer, and basketball!   Her hobby would be photography.  She has thousands of pictures of her children, her dogs and beautiful sunrises and sunsets.  

Dr. Amethyst wants her patients to know that they are very important to her.  She values them, their families and the time they invest to come to their appointments.  One of her favorite quotes is from the movie Patch Adams. "You treat a disease, you win, you lose.  You treat a person, I'll guarantee you'll win!"  

Dr. David Adamic

David D. Adamic, is a practicing Endodontic Specialist in the Cities of Hemet and Turlock, California.  He has owned and operated a successful Dental Practice for over 30 years. 

Dr. Austin Schellinck

Dr. Austin Schellinck, a Turlock native, graduated from Turlock High School in 2000.  He then attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton where he received his bachelor’s degree.  He received his dental degree after attending the University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco where he graduated with honors.  After graduating from dental school, he pursued his specialty training in periodontics and dental implant surgery at Baylor in Dallas, TX.  At Baylor, Dr. Schellinck received extensive training in the surgical treatment of periodontal disease, surgical dental implant placement, bone grafting techniques, oral medicine and conscious sedation. In addition to his training, Dr. Schellinck has published research on autoimmune diseases and their relationship to periodontal disease.

In 2009, Dr. Schellinck returned to the Central Valley to practice and he has made it his goal to provide the best quality care to his patients.  Dr. Schellinck has the distinction of being a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and continues to stay abreast the most recent surgical techniques and technologies available to treat his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Schellinck enjoys spending time with his wife, Dr. Ashley Streeter.  Together they enjoy spending time on the coast and in the Tahoe area. He also enjoys playing soccer, golf, tennis and snowboarding.

Dr. Broneil Ishaya

Dr. Broneil Ishaya is a general dentist. He graduated from CSU Stanislaus with Cum Laude in Biology and further pursued his education at one of the top rated dental schools, UC San Francisco. Once completing his doctorate, he found it most fitting to travel back to Turlock and serve his community at large. Dr. Ishaya is comfortable with providing most dental treatments, including but not limited to, restoration of decayed teeth or implants, root canals, extractions including wisdom teeth, veneers and esthetics work, and orthodontic treatment.

As a child. Dr. Ishaya would work with his father, a well-established dental laboratory in the central valley. At the age of 14, he would fabricate dental prosthesis, create night guards, and much more for our office and many other offices in the valley. Once he had a chance, we would find him in our office looking to shadow the doctors and eager to learn more about dentistry. In fall of 2020, Dr. Ishaya officially became part of the TFD family.

In his spare time he enjoys hiking, snowboarding, playing soccer, and spending lots of time with his family. He and his lovely wife. Dr. Tamara Sada, are expecting their first child in 2023. He is very excited to be part of the TFD family and building more relationship with people in this community we call home.
